The objective of the ISOSS website is to share information on various aspects and activities of ISOSS and related organizations. It also provides link to organizations with similar aims and activities.

The website works as a common platform for sharing knowledge and experience with a view to encourage collaborative research and scholarly activities. It is likely to attract interested experts in statistics and other related fields across the globe for purposes of building network and productive initiatives.

ISOSS is open to all scholars interested in the development of statistics and its applications regardless of affiliation, origin, nationality, gender or religion. It particularly encourages statisticians from Islamic Countries to come forward to engage in cutting-edge research and professional development.

  • Pakistan Journal of Statistics

    Pakistan Journal of Statistics (PJS) is a premier research journal published from its headquarters in Pakistan since 1985. The journal is published Quarterly containing four issues per volume.

    The Editorial Board of the Journal comprises of experienced statisticians from leading research and teaching institutions around the world. The Editorial Board follows a strict scrutinizing process to ensure publication of high quality papers. Papers accepted for publication in the journal are refereed by at least three international experts, however if two referees recommend a paper for the publication, the Journal Editorial Board accepts the paper with the condition that the author accommodates the points raised by the third referee The journal enjoys distinguished status in research circles as the Journal is acknowledged internationally by universities in Europe, North America, Australia, Japan etc. and is being abstracted and reviewed by renowned international abstracting agencies. The PJS is ranked as one of the core journals in statistics for the "Current Index to Statistics" of American Statistical Association, USA.

     

  • Journal of Applied Probability and Statistics

    The Journal of Applied Probability and Statistics (JAPS) is dedicated to publishing high quality original research articles in broader areas of applied probability as well as diverse statistical methods and techniques covering both theory and applications. Intended as a forum for those engaged in analytic as well as experimental research, the journal publishes 3 issues annually and accepts papers through peer review by professional colleagues in the relevant fields.

    Papers based on innovative research involving real life problems, generalization, expansion and application of existing methods, proposal for new methods, and interdisciplinary applications of probability and statistics are especially welcome. Due to significant increase in number of submissions of high quality articles to JAPS, the management has decided to publish three issues (April, August, December) annually from 2019 to avoid backlog of accepted articles.

    The JAPS is reviewed and indexed in the Mathematical Reviews, MathSciNet, Zentralblatt fur Mathematik, Scopus and Google Scholar databases and is registered in the USA and published by ISOSS Publications.
